Dr. Amira Attya

Dr. Attya is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She earned her medical degree from Cairo University Faculty of Medicine, one of the oldest and most prestigious medical schools in the Middle East.

Following medical school, Dr.Attya completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2017. She subsequently pursued advanced subspecialty training in Infectious Diseases through a fellowship program at Mayo Clinic and Banner – University Medical Center Arizona, completing her fellowship in 2026.

Dr. Attya is dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with complex infectious diseases. Her clinical interests include:

• Valley Fever (Coccidioidomycosis)
• Infections in immunocompromised patients, including solid organ transplant recipients and patients with hematologic malignancies
• Bone and joint infections
• Post-operative and surgical site infections
• HIV care and management

Dr. Attya is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating closely with primary care physicians, surgeons, oncologists, transplant specialists, and other healthcare providers to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients.

She welcomes adult patients with both common and complex infectious disease conditions and strives to provide personalized treatment plans based on the latest advances in infectious disease medicine.
